Fundraiser Success- Thank You!

9 May

Make films, not war

Thank you to everyone who came out on April 30th to help me raise funds for Kalandia refugee camp! We raised just under 300 dollars together- all of which is going towards purchasing media arts supplies for the hundreds of youth at the children’s centre.

Insomnia’s feisty staff were phenomenal and made the event unforgettable.

For those of you who couldn’t make it out, don’t despair. I will be hosting another Kalandia fundraiser in the Fall, after my return from the West Bank. This upcoming event will be bigger and more interactive; I will be screening the final film projects that Kalandia youth worked on together. Also, there will be photography and a presentation. More to come on that later!

Stay updated on the project through this blog. To everyone- I appreciate your continued support!
